When reporting a problem
It helps to include the app version (shown at the bottom of Settings), your phone model, and what happened step by step. If you attach screenshots, please hide personal content such as your questions and notes. Please do not send sensitive information such as passwords or ID numbers.
Deleting records stored on your device
- Delete one reading: In the Journal tab, long-press the reading and choose Delete. You can also open the reading and tap Delete at the top right.
- Delete all readings: In Android settings, open Night Tarot's storage and clear the app data. This removes your readings, the Card of the Day and your settings. Menu names differ by device.
- Uninstall: Uninstalling the app also removes the records stored on the device.
Deleted records cannot be brought back in the app. Copies made by your operating system's backup or device transfer features may need to be managed separately. Before clearing the app data or uninstalling, it is best to use Delete my statistics below first.
Restoring Premium
If you reinstalled the app or changed phones, tap See Premium in Settings or on the Readings tab to open the Premium window, then tap Restore purchase. You need to be signed in to Google Play with the same Google account you used to buy Premium. If no purchase is found, check that you are not using a different Google account; if it still does not work, email us with your order number (it starts with GPA.).
Accounts and server storage
Night Tarot does not create member accounts, so there is no account deletion page. We cannot view, or delete on your behalf, records stored only on your device.
For how technical information handled by service providers and support emails are kept and deleted, see the Privacy Policy. Requests to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to suspend its processing, can be sent to the email above.
Stopping and deleting usage statistics
Turn off Usage statistics in Settings to stop sending statistics from then on. To delete the statistics this device has already sent, choose Delete my statistics. When deletion on the server succeeds, “Your statistics were deleted.” appears and sending stays off. If it fails, check your connection and try again.
It is best to request deletion in the app before uninstalling. If the installation number and deletion credential are lost by uninstalling the app or clearing its data, the server records may be hard to find. The app does not display the installation number, so even if you ask by email we may not be able to identify your records; in that case they are cleaned up when the retention periods in section 3 of the Privacy Policy end.
After deletion, only a hash of the deletion credential and the time of deletion are kept separately for 7 days, to stop late requests from recreating the records. The installation identifier and launch counts are not included in this record.
Ad privacy choices
You can reopen Google's privacy choices from Ad privacy settings in the app's Settings. This item appears only when needed, depending on your region and consent status. In your device settings, you can reset or delete your Android advertising ID.
Daily reminder
Turn on Daily reminder in Settings and pick a time to be reminded to see your Card of the Day. Turning it off removes the scheduled notifications. If notifications for the app are turned off in your phone's settings, no reminder will arrive.
