TERMS
Terms of Use
1. Purpose and scope
These terms set out the conditions for using the Night Tarot app and its information website provided by JC Studio. How we handle personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy. Questions can be sent to whdcjf8172@gmail.com.
2. What the app provides
The app provides a daily Card of the Day; One Card and Yes or No readings; the Past, Present, Future, Love and Connection, Two Paths and Celtic Cross spreads; a guide to all 78 cards; a journal that keeps your readings, questions and notes on your device; and an optional daily reminder. No login account is created.
One Card and Yes or No are always free. You can read one of Past, Present, Future, Love and Connection, Two Paths or the Celtic Cross free once a day; after that, you can open a reading by watching a rewarded ad that you choose to play to the end, or by buying Night Tarot Premium.
The app includes a banner ad at the bottom of the tab screens and a rewarded ad that plays only when you choose it. There are no interstitial (full-screen) ads. Ads are not shown to Premium users. See the Privacy Policy for how ad providers handle information and the choices available to you. The terms of third-party products and services shown in ads are set by their providers, and ads do not represent the app's readings or our recommendations.
Night Tarot Premium is a one-time lifetime purchase (non-consumable) sold through Google Play in-app billing. It unlocks every spread with no limits and removes ads. There are no subscriptions. With the Google account you bought it with, you can get it back with Restore purchase after reinstalling the app or changing phones. Payments and refunds follow section 7.
3. What readings are
Tarot readings are content for entertainment and self-reflection. They do not predict the future or guarantee the outcome of any event, and they are not a substitute for professional advice or judgement in medical, legal, financial or other fields. For important decisions about health, legal matters or money, please consult a qualified professional.
The cards in a spread are chosen from a shuffled deck, so the same question can bring different cards each time. The Card of the Day stays the same for the whole day.
4. Your records and how you use the app
You own the questions and notes you write in the app. Please take care when writing other people's personal information in questions or notes. You may not use the app to infringe on other people's personal information or privacy.
Records are kept in the app's storage on your device, up to the 500 most recent readings. They may be lost if you uninstall the app or clear its data, or if your phone breaks, is replaced or changes operating system, and we cannot restore records kept only on your device. OS backup and device transfer features follow your device and account settings.
5. Content and prohibited conduct
The app's design, the card interpretations and editorial content we wrote, and the software are protected by the rights of JC Studio or the rightful owners. You may use them for personal purposes within what the app provides. This does not restrict uses permitted by law.
The card artwork is based on Pamela Colman Smith's original drawings of 1909–1910, which are in the public domain, re-coloured in gold and night blue for Night Tarot. The original drawings themselves remain in the public domain.
You may not disrupt the service, bypass security restrictions, infringe on others' rights, or copy or sell the app's content in bulk without permission. Third-party materials such as open-source software and fonts are subject to their own licences.
6. Changes to the service and liability
We may change the app or discontinue some features to fix errors, improve features or respond to changes in the operating environment. Changes that significantly affect your rights will be announced in the app, on the store listing or on this website.
If you find an error in a reading or a problem while using the app, please let us know through Support. These terms do not exclude or limit our liability under applicable law or your rights as a consumer.
7. Payments and refunds
- Paid features are sold through Google Play billing, and refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy.
- If more than 48 hours have passed since your purchase, or Google Play did not refund it, email whdcjf8172@gmail.com with your order number (it starts with GPA.).
- Digital features provided immediately upon payment can no longer be withdrawn (cancelled) once you start using them, under Article 17(2) of the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce of the Republic of Korea. However, if a feature is not provided properly or differs from its description, we will refund you.
8. Ending use and deleting records
You can stop using or uninstall the app at any time. How to delete records in the app is explained on the Support page. Because there is no service account, there is no account deletion procedure.
9. Changes to these terms and contact
If we change these terms, we will update the date on this page and announce important changes appropriately before they take effect. Disputes are governed by applicable law and lawful jurisdiction, and mandatory protections that apply to you take precedence.
